This page explains how we discover, evaluate, and update the status of coupon codes listed on PW Coupon Shop.

How we find coupon codes

We discover potential coupon codes through publicly available sources including social media, student forums, and other coupon listing websites. Finding a code through a third-party source does not mean it is valid — all codes require independent verification before we consider marking them Active.

Verification process

We verify a coupon code by:

  1. Visiting pw.live or the PW app directly.
  2. Selecting an applicable batch or course.
  3. Proceeding to checkout and entering the code in the coupon field.
  4. Confirming that a discount is applied and recording the discount amount, applicable courses, and date of verification.

Only after completing this process do we mark a code as Active.

Status definitions

  • Active: The code was personally verified and applied a discount at checkout at the time of the last verification date shown.
  • Unverified: The code has been reported by a third-party source but has not yet been independently tested by us. Use with caution.
  • Expired: The code was previously Active but no longer applies a discount at checkout.
  • Paused: The code may be temporarily inactive. Its status is unclear.
  • Removed: The code has been removed from our listings entirely, typically because it was found to be fabricated or never valid.

Re-verification schedule

We aim to re-verify all Active codes at least every 14 days. If a previously Active code is found to no longer work, we update its status to Expired and record the date of that change.

Verification date

The "Last verified" date shown on each coupon page is the date we personally tested the code. This date is always set manually — it is never automatically updated based on page views or any other trigger.

Limitations

Physics Wallah can change coupon eligibility, discount amounts, or course applicability at any time without notice. A code marked Active here may have since changed. Always check the final discounted amount at checkout before completing your payment. We do not accept responsibility for purchases made based on stale information.

Reporting incorrect information

If you test a code listed as Active and find it is not working, please contact us with the code, the batch you tried it on, and the date you tested it. We will investigate and update the status accordingly.
